Aleksandra Korolova
Aleksandra Korolova is a WiSE Gabilan Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Southern California. She has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Korolova has an interdisciplinary background and has worked in various organizations such as Google, Yahoo! Research, Facebook, Palo Alto Research Center, and Bracebridge Capital LLC. She has expertise in societal impacts of algorithms and machine learning while preserving privacy and fairness.
Korolova has also worked as a Privacy Advisor at Snap Inc. She has developed and deployed algorithms and technologies enabling data-driven innovations while maintaining privacy and fairness. Her research interests lie in designing and developing privacy-preserving algorithms for big data, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and social media analytics.
