Alejandro Romay is an accomplished entrepreneur, consultant, and co-founder of various successful companies. With a long and innovative career, Romay played a key role in introducing the internet into Argentina and is recognized as the creator of the first CyberCafe™ in Latin America back in 1995. He has extensive experience in multimedia and marketing, which have allowed him to work on numerous digital projects across different sectors, such as health, banking, construction, and education.
Romay's professional trajectory includes serving as the President of Oikoss™, a leading firm dedicated to designing and implementing Voz, Datos, and Video solutions with a focus on Data Centers. He was also the Co-Founder & Vice President of I-Team™, one of the most important software factories in the late 90s in Argentina, Brazil, and the United States. Additionally, he served as the Co-Founder & Digital Product Officer of BancaClub, the Co-Founder & Director of CrowdClub, and the Director of Cybercafe.
Currently, Romay is the Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer of XCOOP.ME, a startup that seeks to redefine the traditional co-operative model by merging technology, innovation, and social impact.
