Alejandra Luzardo

Alejandra Luzardo is a prominent figure in the field of innovation and the creative economy, currently serving as the Manager of Innovation at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). In this role, which she has held since May 2013, Luzardo has been instrumental in developing strategies that leverage the creative industries to foster employment and inclusion across 26 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. She has successfully led cross-functional teams and established impactful partnerships with governments and industry leaders to enhance the creative economy.1

Before her current position, Luzardo was the Head of Digital Landscape at IDB from 2009 to 2013, where she significantly improved the organization's digital presence and user engagement through innovative web strategies.1 Her career at IDB began in 1993, and she has held various roles that emphasize her expertise in communication and digital media.1
