Alec Marken

Alec Marken: the multi-talented actor, singer, dancer, musician, songwriter, choreographer, and producer based in Southern California, with a passion for performance and music. He studied drama and dance at Irvine Valley, Saddleback, and Orange Coast College, and has performed in various ensembles and theaters. With a specialty in acting, dancing, and singing, Alec has worked with different organizations throughout his career, including GOT THAT SWING! as a band director, lead singer, and dancer, Global Groove as a djembe player and actor, and Bands & Bellies Peace Concerts and Deep Stirrings, where he served as a producer, lead singer, songwriter, and acoustic guitarist. Alec is also a skilled ballroom dance instructor, teaching Swing, Salsa, Waltz, Tango, and Viennese Waltz across Southern California. He has choreographed for various events, including Flashmobs, and performed aerial and silks/tissu work. Alec Marken is a versatile artist who can offer a full theatrical Speakeasy experience for clubs and private events with his band, dancers, and comedy sketches.
