Alec Helmy is the founder, president, and publisher of XBIZ, an American publisher of business news and information for the sex industry.1 He founded Adnet Media, which operates XBIZ and its affiliated publications, in 1998.14 Helmy is a veteran of the adult internet industry and a founding member of the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP).1
