Alea Thompson

Alea Thompson is a highly educated and experienced professional in the field of education and leadership. With a doctoral degree in Policy Studies in Urban Education from the University of Illinois at Chicago, she has a strong academic and professional background in the impact of public policy on classroom practice. Alea has also completed a Master's in Education with a focus on English and a Bachelor's degree in English, Government, and Education.

Currently, Alea serves as the Senior Product Manager at ACT, where she ensures successful implementations of blended social-emotional learning programs for client schools. Prior to this role, she worked as a Product and Implementation Manager at Mawi Learning and Product Manager at ACT.

Throughout her career, Alea has held various leadership positions, including a graduate assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago, a tutor at Chicago Public Schools, and an English teacher at Keefe Regional Technical School. She also served as a Shelving Supervisor at Colby College- Miller Library, Summer@Carroll Writing Teacher at The Carroll School, and Pathways to Success: MCAS Course at Bunker Hill Community College.
