Alderik Oosthoek

Alderik Oosthoek is a highly passionate individual with a keen interest in politics, law, privacy, and technology. Currently serving as the Policy Advisor (APA) to MEP Paul Tang, focusing on Digital Regulation at the European Parliament, Alderik Oosthoek specializes in the convergence of these fields.

With a solid educational background, Alderik Oosthoek holds a Pre-masters degree and a Masters Degree (LL.M.) in Public Law with a specialization in State- and administrative law from the University of Amsterdam. Additionally, he has a Bachelors degree (BSc) in Public Administration from Leiden University.

Alderik Oosthoek has been associated with various impactful roles across different organizations. He served as a Trainee in the team of the PvdA party leader at Tweede Kamer der Staten-Generaal, held the position of Secretary of the campaign committee of PvdA South-Holland, and also worked as an Assistant to the board of PvdA South-Holland. Additionally, Alderik Oosthoek has experience as a self-employed communications advisor at ACDO, Researcher Public Affairs at EPPA, Research Intern at EPPA, and Employee Contact Centre Municipality of Westland at BeSupported.
