Alberto Stochino is a physicist turned entrepreneur who is revolutionizing the field of autonomous vehicle technology by creating new sensing solutions. With a magna cum laude Master's Degree in Physics from the esteemed Università di Pisa, and a PhD in the same field from Università degli Studi di Siena, Stochino has an impressive academic background. He has further honed his skills by working as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University and a Postdoctoral Researcher at LIGO Gravitational Wave Observatory.

Stochino has also worked as a Technology Development Engineer at Apple and as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at The Australian National University. Additionally, he has served as a Scientific Consultant at Galli & Morelli, Ltd and as a Research Assistant at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Alongside his professional commitments, Stochino has also completed a Summer Undergraduate Research Program at Caltech and served as a Visiting PhD Research Student at the same institution.

Stochino has now founded Perceptive, a startup that is working towards creating sensing solutions to facilitate truly driverless vehicles. By leveraging his experience and expertise, Stochino has been able to create new solutions that are transforming the automotive industry.
