Albert Swantner

Albert Swantner is a successful entrepreneur and technology leader based in Austin, Texas. He is best known as the Co-Founder and CTO of Mobile Tech RX, a company that develops technology for the automotive reconditioning industry.1

Education and Early Career

Albert received both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.1 During his time at UT, he was involved with the Formula SAE team and conducted undergraduate research on optimization and automation. He continued this research under Dr. Matthew Campbell for his graduate thesis, focusing on the automated design of gear trains.1

After graduation in 2009, Albert's career path took an unexpected turn when his job offer at Flextronics was rescinded due to the economic downturn. He briefly worked as a waiter before landing a job at a small design firm.1

In 2010, Albert founded Bohemian Innovation, a consulting agency that worked with major companies like Adidas, Microsoft, Walmart, and Fox. This venture also allowed him to start other companies, including Charity Miles (a Webby award recipient) and Sway Water.1
