Albert Reinink

Albert Reinink is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in event programming, production, and management.

Currently serving as the Stadsprogrammeur at Deventer Schouwburg since 2011, Albert curates and produces a diverse range of events including concerts, festivals, political gatherings, and more.

In his previous role as a Programmeur at Poppodium Het Burgerweeshuis in Deventer from 2003 to 2011, he was instrumental in organizing concerts, festivals, and dance nights while also overseeing financial aspects and being a part of the Management Team.

With a passion for music and arts, Albert's journey began as a concert-programmeur at Doornroosje in Nijmegen from 2000 to 2003, where he curated music events and introduced innovative programs like Poetry Slam and Hiphop Sunday.

Having a solid foundation in event planning, Albert also worked as a Programmeur at various festivals like Oranjepop and Valhof-affaire in Nijmegen during the early 2000s.

His career kicked off in the late '90s as a Concert-programmeur at Simplon, Groningen, followed by a stint in Marketing and PR at the same venue, showcasing his versatility and expertise in the entertainment industry.

Albert Reinink holds a degree in HBO-Overheidscommunicatie from Hanzehogeschool Groningen, with a thesis focusing on civic participation in local government.

Beyond his professional roles, Albert has contributed to the industry as a jury member for prestigious events like popprijs Wraak van Brabant and the Roos van Nijmegen.

He has also showcased his writing skills as a redacteur at Verakrant and a reviewer at Live XS, establishing himself as a multi-talented individual in the field of arts and culture.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Albert was awarded the title of Programmeur van het jaar in 2001, a testament to his dedication and excellence in event programming.
