Alaric has pursued higher education, including a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of New Mexico, a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mechanical Engineering and German Language from the University of Rhode Island.

His professional journey includes roles such as Principal of Customer Energy Solutions, Manager of Customer Program Marketing and Development, Project Manager of Product Development, and Technical Program Manager of Renewables at Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM).

Prior to his tenure at PNM, Alaric held positions at Suncore Photovoltaics as a Senior Applications Engineer and Engineer R&D, conducted PV outdoor testing at Fraunhofer USA - Center for Sustainable Energy Systems, worked as a Mechanical Engineering Aide at Brown and Caldwell, served as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington, contributed as a Water and Sanitation Extension Specialist in the Peace Corps, and gained experience as a Raeder und Reifen Entwicklung at BMW Group.
