Alan Torres

Alan Torres is a highly accomplished engineer who has made significant contributions to the fields of artificial intelligence, mechatronics, and software engineering. With a PhD candidate and Bachelor's from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Alan is a 2x founding engineer who has helped build innovative apps such as Octi, an AR app powered by on-device deep learning algorithms and Fuisz Video, which used tracking algorithms for producing interactive video experiences. Alan is currently a Senior Software Engineer at First Resonance and has previously held high-level positions such as CTO at both OCTI, INC. and Fuisz Media. He has also worked as a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Southern California and a Graduate Research Assistant at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
