    Alan Su is a recent graduate from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biophysics and Quantitative Economics, where he maintained a strong 3.8 GPA.

    With a background in genome engineering, Alan has dedicated multiple years to undergraduate and post-bac research focusing on CRISPR-Cas9-based epigenetic editing tools, particularly exploring force-modulated control of cis-regulatory elements.

    His experience includes working as a Post-baccalaureate Researcher and formerly as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Gersbach Lab within the Duke Center for Advanced Genomic Technologies.

    Alan has also contributed as an Undergraduate Data Researcher at Duke University's The Fuqua School of Business and served as an Organic Chemistry Teaching Assistant in the Department of Chemistry.

    Furthermore, he has gained valuable experience as a Summer Research Intern at the Institute of Neuroscience (ION) at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Shanghai and as a Summer Intern and Research Assistant at the Institute for Western Surgery.
