Alan Sheriff

Alan Sheriff is a strategic and analytical C-Suite senior business executive with a strong background in financial services and alternative asset management.

With over forty years of experience in buy and sell-side finance, including investment banking, capital raising, private and public equities, M&A, and venture capital investing, Alan has a deep expertise in capital markets.

As the Executive Chairman of Catalyst Corporate Advisory and retired Vice Chairman of the Corporate & Institutional Bank of PNC Financial Services Group, Alan has demonstrated exceptional executive leadership.

He founded Solebury Capital, a successful capital markets advisory firm, and co-founded the SPAC franchise Tailwind I, II, and International, raising a total of $1 billion.

Alan Sheriff holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Rochester, and has completed the Fellows Program at The Wharton School.

He is actively engaged in family-led philanthropic initiatives supporting U.S. veterans and education, and leads investments in various industry groups through his family office, The Sheriff Group.
