Having spent a decade in the Boston office of the firm, Alan Matijas currently assumes the position of Director at Wellington Management's Canadian business and leads the Toronto office.

His primary role involves fostering consultative partnerships with clients, consultants, and prospects, ensuring optimal utilization of the firm's resources and services to benefit them.

At Wellington Management, Alan is instrumental in managing strategic relationships within the region, as the global relationship group caters to 2200+ clients in over 60 countries, managing assets worth $20 billion for Canadian institutions.

The investment solutions provided by Wellington Management encompass a diverse range, including core and non-core equities, Canadian and global fixed income, and alternative investments.

Alan Matijas pursued his academic endeavors by completing an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Political Science from the University of Toronto, followed by a Master of Arts in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University.
