Alan Itakura

Alan Itakura is a mission-driven scientist with over 10 years of experience in molecular biology research.

Educationally, he holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biology from Stanford University, a Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Stanford Graduate School of Business, a Master's Thesis in Bioscience specializing in Plant Molecular Biology and Computational Biology from KAUST, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Hons in Biology from Imperial College London.

Alan has a strong passion for working at the intersection of science and business to drive meaningful change. He is known for his collaborative nature and problem-solving mindset, always striving to find solutions regardless of the challenges.

Throughout his career, he has held key positions such as Project Leader and Life Science Expert at DeciBio, Business Development Intern at Stanford Graduate School of Business, and Founding Team Member at Design for Extreme Affordability.
