Alan Bracken

Alan Bracken is a collaborative innovation leader known for his exceptional product and project management skills in the energy analytics, rechargeable batteries, and computer peripheral products sectors. He has extensive leadership experience in international, startup to enterprise environments, managing multiple product successes. He worked as a Principal Product/Program/CTL management executive at Seagate and as Sr. Director Product Management and New Product Development at Platts Analytics (The McGraw Hill Companies).

His accomplishments include managing all aspects of the product lifecycle for numerous analytic information and analysis products serving the Energy industry, launching the first storage industry digital imaging product in 2000, and the award-winning Platts Energy Advantage online data delivery, and analysis platform. Bracken has a formal education comprising of a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wyoming.

With his expertise in product marketing, product management, project management, program management, contract negotiations, competitive analysis, and market research, Bracken has a record of directing large cross-functional groups in successfully developing and launching products. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified through the Project Management Institute.
