Alan Benenson

Alan Benenson is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the development and construction industry. As the President of MAS Development, he oversees various ventures in commercial, industrial, and residential developments, handling everything from land acquisition to design, entitlements, development, and disposition.

In addition to his role at MAS Development, Alan is the Managing Partner of MAS Land Entitlement Fund, a private fund dedicated to acquiring strategic land, navigating the entitlement process, and eventually selling these assets to future developers. He is dedicated to business development, ensuring performance, and upholding fiduciary responsibilities to investors.

Before establishing MAS Development, Alan Benenson gained valuable experience working as a project manager for different general contracting and development firms. Throughout his career, he led projects for prominent clients such as The Miami Herald, Palmetto General Hospital, Blockbuster, Marshall’s, Barnett Bank, City of Coral Gables, and Miami International Airport.

Alan's contributions extend beyond MAS Development; he co-founded Universal Storage Group, where he played a pivotal role in site selection, design, and development, notably overseeing the creation of over 500,000 square feet of self-storage facilities in Florida and Puerto Rico.

Alan Benenson's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction and Development, Real Estate Construction and Development from the University of Florida. He remains an active member of the professional community, serving as the President of MAS Development Corp. and previously as a Project Manager at Lotspeich Company, Inc.
