Alan Amling is a highly accomplished executive with decades of experience in logistics and marketing. He received his MBA in marketing from Indiana University followed by a PhD in management and strategy from Kennesaw State University. Amling held numerous leadership positions at UPS, including Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Vice President of Marketing for UPS Global Logistics & Distribution. He also served as CEO of Thrive and Advance LLC, providing consulting services to businesses, and advisor to several companies in the logistics and transportation space.
Amling's expertise involves logistics, transportation, marketing, and strategy. He has also been involved in new product research and development as well as long-range planning. Amling is a fellow at University of Tennessee, Knoxville and holds an Executive Program in Transportation Marketing Strategy from Northwestern University. He also holds a BA in business and psychology from Lewis & Clark College.
