In 2010, Alam founded Oceanweb, a company specializing in comprehensive IT solutions such as web development and branding.

His career journey started in 2007 at Soft Tech Creation as a Web and Graphic Designer, followed by roles at Index Media and Zenith Infotech before joining Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in 2011.

Alam's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from SRSS College of Arts, Commerce, and Science, along with completion of SSC at Lokmanya Vidya Mandir.
