Alaina Percival is a CEO, Board Member, and angel investor who is committed to advancing women's careers in the technology industry globally. She co-founded Women Who Code (WWCode), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that encourages and inspires women to excel in their technology careers. Alaina was previously a business leader for various organizations, such as Puma, and has valued results over activity. Her approach has proved fruitful as WWCode has produced measurable results, such as members increasing their salaries by 200% and accelerating their technology careers by two levels within a year. Alaina has EU citizenship and has lived and worked in over 75 countries, allowing her to see first-hand the global lack of women in the technology industry. As a result, WWCode is expanding every day to assist diverse women in developing the skills and community they require to succeed in technology. Alaina studied abroad at Georg-Simon-Ohm-Fachhochschule Nurnberg, Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business (M.B.A. in Brand Management), and Institut d'Administration des Entreprises (Masters in Organizational Management). She also has a B.I.S. in International Relations from Georgia State University. In addition to her work at WWCode, Alaina previously served as a Venture Partner at Valor Ventures, an Advisor at CodePath, the Head of Developer Outreach at Riviera Partners, and the Corporate Brand Manager at Nfinity. She also worked as an International Niche Product Manager at PUMA and a Merchandising Graduate at Versace USA before that.
