Alain El Hajj

Alain Hajj is a fintech enthusiast with a background in the financial technology industry, emphasizing Entrepreneurship and Financial Inclusion for societal and economic advancement.

During his time at the American University in Cairo, Alain co-founded Paymob and served as its President & Chief Operating Officer, leading the company to become a prominent player in merchant financial services in the MENAP region.

Alain has extensive experience in general management, overseeing various company operations such as Product, Sales, Marketing, CX, People, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Finance, and expanding Paymob's presence across the Middle East and Africa.

Passionate about developing innovative technology solutions to enhance financial access for underserved populations, Alain is dedicated to creating mass-scale services that empower individuals with better financial opportunities.

Apart from his professional pursuits, Alain Hajj enjoys Reading, Traveling, and Kitesurfing, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The American University in Cairo.
