Alaa Hassan is an eCommerce veteran who has been instrumental in helping brands and retailers build successful online businesses since 2001. With over 18 years of experience in leading digital growth for both online and retail brands, Alaa has been recognized as "one of the most knowledgeable eCommerce experts in the industry." He is currently serving as the Vice President of Digital Commerce & Growth at Le Site, a digital commerce agency that specializes in providing customized eCommerce solutions for mid to large enterprises.

Before joining Le Site, Alaa served as a Director of Digital Marketing at Linen Chest, one of Canada's leading home retailers, and helped to expand Beyond the Rack's product offering into marketplaces like Amazon and eBay. As the lead eCommerce expert at iNetVideo.com, Alaa helped the company grow its online sales from $1 million to $19.5 million a year, earning recognition from both the Internet Retailer Top 500 and Inc. 5000 lists of leading companies. In addition to his work at Le Site, Alaa is also the founder of eCommerceTrainingAcademy.com and a foodie and Porsche enthusiast.

Alaa's education includes a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Concordia University and studies in Computer Science Technology and Computer Programming from Vanier College.
