He holds a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems from Keller School of Management and a Bachelor's Degree in IT Technical Management from DeVry University.

Al Vignolini's background covers a lengthy tenure in Information Technology leadership, holding several roles such as Vice President at A2U, Chief Information Officer at Superior Beverage Group, Director of IT at FedEx Services, Director of IT Communications at Coventry Health Care (an Aetna Company), Senior Manager of Network Services at FedEx Ground, and Manager of Telecommunications and Operations Support at Xerox. Before entering the private companies' IT industry, Vignolini served as a Telecommunications Analyst at LTV Steel Tubular Products, a Field Engineer at NCR Corporation, and retired from the United States Air Force with the rank of Staff Sergeant.
