Al-Sharif Nassef is the Senior Campaign Manager for All Voting Is Local in Pennsylvania. He has a diverse background in community organizing, peacebuilding, and international human rights. Nassef's career has included significant roles such as an analyst on the democracy movement in Cairo, Egypt, with Fair Observer, and working at the U.N. Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland.
Before joining All Voting Is Local, he was involved in various environmental and civil rights initiatives, collaborating with organizations like MoveOn, the Sunrise Movement, and CAIR-Philadelphia. Nassef also played a key role in organizing training sessions for the Poor People’s Campaign in Ohio and was active in outreach efforts to Arab and Muslim American communities during the Bernie Sanders 2016 presidential campaign.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Middle East studies and political science from The George Washington University.12
