Al Farrell

Al Farrell is a highly accomplished and experienced registered nurse with a strong background in medical-surgical care, telemetry, med-surg, and orthopedics. He currently works as the Education Specialist for the Medical-Surgical Division of Prime Healthcare, a leading network of community-based hospitals.

Al completed his Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Pace University, where he was a Robert Wood Johnson Scholar and the winner of the Patricia Mallet Memorial Scholarship Award and Harriet Feldman Nursing Student Writing Award. He has also completed clinical rotations at prestigious healthcare institutions such as Columbia Presbyterian, Cornell, Veterans Administration Hospital (Manhattan), and the Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY).

With exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, Al is patient-focused and a strong team player. He possesses a proven ability to manage high-stress environments, prioritize tasks, and follow through with close attention to detail.

Aside from his nursing profession, Al has a strong background in journalism and political science, and has pursued MBA studies in Human Service Organizations Mgt. He has also worked in executive recruitment, business development, and sales accounting management roles.
