Al Bsharah is an accomplished entrepreneur with a strong background in electrical engineering and development in the Detroit auto industry. Al has pivoted multiple times throughout his career, having founded two companies and worked as the VP of Product Operations at Seismic, and the CEO and Cofounder of Email Copilot. He has raised money from both VCs and angels and is a graduate of both the Techstars and Founder Institute accelerator programs. Al has also given back to the startup community as a mentor at both Techstars and Founder Institute and as a former board member at Startup San Diego. Today, Al is the Managing Partner at Interlock Capital, which is a community-driven startup fund allowing seasoned or aspiring angel investors to get into amazing companies within their own budget.

Al's education comprises a Bachelor of Science from Kettering University and a degree in Electrical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University. He also studied at Techstars and The Founder Institute. Outside of his professional life, Al enjoys spending time with his loving wife, son, and dog. He is an avid beach volleyball enthusiast and has been known to say that it keeps him (in)sane. Al's passion for entrepreneurship is evident in his journey's twists and turns, and his resounding success is reflected in the organizations he has founded, helped grow, and contributed to.
