Akshay Vishwanath is an environmental professional focusing on finding socio-economically viable solutions to environmental challenges for ecosystem health and biodiversity. He brings extensive experience in Sustainable Development, Environmental Issues, Biodiversity, Environmental Awareness, Community Conservation, and Natural Resource Management with a specific focus on Eastern and Southern Africa.

Akshay completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at ALU School of Business, a Master of Science in Environmental Studies at Macquarie University, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Chemistry, and Zoology from Bangalore University.
