Akshay Tyagi

Akshay Tyagi is a recent Management Graduate in Finance and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Amritsar. He has a strong academic background with expertise in Equity Research, Investment Analysis, Portfolio Management, Corporate Finance, Derivatives, Consumer Behaviour, Strategic Marketing, and Product Management. Akshay co-founded the Prep Club to help students prepare for their placements.

During his summer internship at ICICI Lombard, Akshay conducted potential, portfolio, and gap analysis for a major construction client, managing business potential exceeding 120 crore. He meticulously analyzed 600 policies, created a dashboard using data from 4 databases, and presented the project to the VP.

Prior to pursuing his MBA, Akshay worked as a Senior Engineer at L&T Construction, handling resource management, people management, cross-functional team collaboration, and vendor management across 4 projects. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur, where he led the Event Management team for the Annual Fest and served as the Campus Ambassador for CETPA Technologies.

Akshay has excelled academically throughout his education, being a scholar and merit holder at Vivekanand School, Delhi. In his personal time, he enjoys cooking, writing in his diary, and occasionally composing poems. Akshay is known for his sense of responsibility, readiness to tackle challenges, and commitment to confidentiality.
