With an aim of E-mail Inclusion for 93% population with no access to Internet in India, I have developed a low cost hardware prototype to be installed at mom-n-pop stores (estimated to be 20 million across India) and leverages mobile number identity of end users to transfer documented content between internet and non-internet users. It resembles to a fax machine at the front end but with an extremely simple interface, GSM based connectivity, ability to store & forward/access at any time and with the archiving abilities using cloud storage.

The product was recently showcased at IIT-Delhi and attracted hundreds of people’s attention and appreciation from industry experts, faculty members and target user segment.
