Akshay Gunteti

Akshay Gunteti is a passionate individual with a diverse background and a strong focus on entrepreneurship, leadership, and environmental sustainability.

Growing up, Akshay's childhood experiences instilled in him a love for nature and a deep connection to his roots.

Driven by his passion for entrepreneurship, Akshay embarked on a journey to explore grassroots innovation with his Indian Startup Tour initiative in 2015.

In 2018, he founded AccelerateSD, a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the Climate & Environmental Crisis and engaging youth in climate action programs.

Recognizing the urgent need for Sustainable Waste Management in India, Akshay joined Green Worms as a member of the Leadership team in 2020, where he focuses on empowering women in coastal and rural areas to combat the waste crisis.

His commitment to waste management has led to the creation of over 460 dignified jobs and operations in multiple regions across India.

Apart from his work in the sustainability sector, Akshay is also an author, with his upcoming book 'Covid-19 Leadership' scheduled for release in September.

Through his writings and research, Akshay aims to inspire leadership and drive positive change in the world.
