Akshana Dassanaike-Perera is a young and talented computer scientist and technology enthusiast. Akshana has a passion for combining computer science with public policy to create innovative solutions addressing real-world problems.
Akshana's professional experience includes an internship as a Software Engineer at Argo AI, where she worked on developing autonomous driving technology. She co-founded Steel City Codes, a non-profit organization that empowers disadvantaged children with programming skills. Additionally, she worked as a Research Intern at CMU CREATE Lab, where she researched the use of technology for social good.
