Akhil Handa is a prominent Business Leader and Digital Strategist with a diverse background in business development, startup mentoring, and repositioning BFSI in the digital era.

Currently a key member of the Corporate Leadership Team at Bank of Baroda, the 2nd largest bank in India, with a pivotal role as Chief Digital Officer overseeing digital transformation and P&L across various lines of businesses domestically and internationally.

Akhil's responsibilities include managing digital payments, assets, platforms, product engineering, channels, ATMs/CRs, Fintech partnerships, Startup Banking, and Innovation Centre initiatives.

Recognized as a leading digital influencer in India, he has authored several thought pieces and co-authored a book on Transformational Leadership in Banking.

Akhil's pioneering achievements include establishing a digital bank, fintech vertical, and Innovation Centre in collaboration with IIT Mumbai, spearheading innovative digital lending businesses, and engaging in industry committees and government task forces.
