    His notable achievement includes leading the successful restoration project of the Chilika Lake, a coastal wetland of international importance, which earned him the prestigious Ramsar Wetland Conservation Award in 2002.

    Throughout his career, he has held various senior positions in organizations like The World Bank, JICA, Wetlands International South Asia, National Center for Sustainable Coastal Management, and more.

    Ajit Pattnaik is recognized for his over 100 scientific publications, oral communication skills, workshop facilitation, and expertise in environmental and social considerations.
