Ajayya Kumar

Ajayya Kumar, born on January 26, 1970, in Trichur District, India, comes from an academic and culturally rich background with parents who excelled in Hindi and Mathematics.

A high achiever in both academics and extracurriculars, Ajay pursued Mathematics in his graduation and successfully completed his ICWAI exams with outstanding results while also undertaking Advanced System Management from N.I.I.T, Mumbai.

He holds a CMA from ICMA, USA, being a member of the institute since 1999.

Ajay is a family man married to Rakhi Menon with two daughters, Aparna Menon and Jahnavi Menon, and they currently reside in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where they continue to embrace their love for Kathakali, Indian classical music, and literary works.

With a diverse literary taste ranging from 'Discovery of India' by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru to 'Shantharam' by Gregory David Robert, and an admiration for Malayalam writer M.T.Vasudevan Nair, Ajay's reading list reflects his broad interests.

He is an avid reader of 'Built to Last,' 'Good to Great,' and 'Great by Choice' by Jim Collins, along with 'Leader without title' by Robin Sharma, and finds inspiration in the concept of Grid theory.

Ajay is known for his strategic thinking, backed by strong ethical values, making him a reliable figure for bankers, vendors, and colleagues alike, with his extensive experience in leadership roles at Emircom and other organizations.

Having served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Emircom, as well as in key roles at Federal Foods LLC and ABB, Ajay's contribution to the finance function and corporate affairs has been commendable.
