    Aisha Moody is a dedicated social entrepreneur who empowers underserved youth through the power of music. She is known for her work as the Co-Founder and Director of AMPlify, the choral music program of the Atlanta Music Project (AMP). With a background in music education and a passion for social change, Aisha has positively impacted the lives of young people in various communities.

    Before venturing into the nonprofit sector, Aisha excelled as an award-winning public school music educator in Washington, DC, and Cobb County school systems. She also contributed her talents as a conductor, accompanist, and curriculum writer for DC Public Schools. A pivotal experience as a Choral Teaching Artist with AMP led Aisha to enroll in the 2011-2012 Sistema Fellows Program, inspiring her to establish the first Sistema-inspired choral program in Georgia.

    In her role as Co-Director of the Atlanta Music Project, Aisha focuses on creating youth orchestras and choirs in underserved areas of Atlanta. Since its establishment in 2010, AMP has grown to serve nearly 200 students across four locations in the city, offering them opportunities to perform at prestigious venues such as the Woodruff Arts Center, Spivey Hall, and The Rialto Center.
