Aimee Carson is a dedicated Community Development Practitioner specializing in regional and sustainable food systems. With over a decade of experience in both local and international projects, Aimee focuses on initiatives that boost community health, address inequalities, and bolster local economies. Currently serving as the Senior Food Coordinator at the Ecology Action Center in Halifax, Aimee collaborates with various stakeholders to enhance community food infrastructure and services, fostering leadership and empowering local food systems in Nova Scotia and beyond. Aimee's educational background includes a BSc. in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences from McGill University, along with certifications in Permaculture Design and Holistic Nutrition.
