Ahmedin Mohammed

Ahmedin Mohammed, PhD, PMP®, ITIL-F, is a highly accomplished individual with a rich academic and professional background in the field of computer science and information technology. Ahmedin earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in Mobile Social Computing from Dalian University of Technology. Prior to that, he completed his MEng in Software Engineering at Chongqing University and his BSc in Computer Science at Bahir Dar University.

Throughout his career, Ahmedin Mohammed has held various key positions in prestigious organizations. He has served as the State Minister at the Ministry of Innovation And Technology in Ethiopia. In addition, he has an academic background and experience, having worked as an Assistant Professor, Scientific Director, Deputy Scientific Director, Director, and Dean at Wollo University. He has also contributed significantly to the National ICT Development & Administration Sector during his tenure as the Director General at the Ministry of Innovation And Technology in Ethiopia.

Apart from his roles in academia and government, Ahmedin has gained practical industry experience. He was an Intern, Software Tester, and a member of the Software Development Team at Eastern Ocean Solutions. His involvement in both academic and professional spheres highlights his multidisciplinary skills and adaptability in various work environments.
