Ahmed "Sami" Tantawy

Ahmed Tantawy is an accomplished product development and business strategy professional with a diverse technical and business background. With experience in the Hi-Tech industry and management consulting, Tantawy has a proven track record in managing new products from concept to launch. He is comfortable working in ambiguous environments with imperfect and incomplete data to make the best judgments and structure execution. Tantawy supports strategic customer engagements to develop technical partnerships and works with senior executives to enable access to new, disruptive markets.

Tantawy earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science degree from Ain Shams University, followed by a Master of Electrical Engineering degree from Santa Clara University. Tantawy then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of California, Berkeley - Walter A. Haas School of Business.

At Flex, Tantawy currently serves as the Vice President of Industrial Solutions. He has previously held various positions at the company, including Senior Director of Product Solutions and Business Development, Director of Technology and Product Development, and Director of Innovation Services, among others. Prior to this, Tantawy also worked as a management consultant at ZS Associates and held various engineering and marketing roles at companies such as Verigy Inc., Credence, and Schlumberger Semiconductor Solutions.
