Ahmed Nasser
Plastic Surgery Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital
Ahmed Nasser is a highly trained plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a focus on breast reconstruction, aesthetics, and the surgical treatment of migraines and occipital neuralgia. He completed his undergraduate studies with high honors in biology at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, followed by medical school at Tufts University School of Medicine.12
Dr. Nasser underwent general surgery training at Stony Brook University Hospital and completed a burn and wound care fellowship at Nassau University Medical Center. He also completed plastic surgery training at the Nassau University Medical Center Program, which was conducted in conjunction with Stony Brook University Hospital.12
He further specialized by completing a fellowship in Reconstructive and Aesthetic Breast Reconstruction at Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital, where he focused on complex revisional breast reconstruction.12 During this fellowship, he worked closely with Dr. Austen, a world expert in migraine surgery.1
Dr. Nasser is affiliated with several medical centers in New Jersey, including Bayshore Medical Center, Riverview Medical Center, JFK University Medical Center, Jersey Shore University Medical Center, and Ocean University Medical Center.3 He is currently associated with The Plastic Surgery Center in Shrewsbury and Brick, New Jersey.45
His professional interests include advancing clinical practice and research in plastic surgery. He has been involved in establishing databases for breast reconstruction and cleft lip and palate surgeries, as well as numerous clinical and basic science projects presented at national and international meetings.2
