Ahmed Handoussa

Ahmed Handoussa is an accomplished electrical engineer with a strong professional and academic background in the energy industry and scientific community.

He holds a Master's of Science in European Master of Science in Nuclear Fusion and Engineering Physics from the University of Ghent, a Diploma in Nuclear Reactors from Cairo University, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power & Machinery from Helwan University Cairo.

Ahmed also completed his International Secondary Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) from Thebes Integrated School.

He has been involved in various organizations and roles, serving as the Industrial Partner for an ITAC-funded Industry 4.0 Project in collaboration with TSK & CND at Empower Energy Systems (EES).

Previously, Ahmed was the Chief Technology Officer & Co-founder at EES, Chief Engineer & Founder at Energy Technik L.L.C, and a Research & Teaching assistant at The American University in Cairo.

He has also held positions such as Masters Student at Forschungszentrum Jülich, Graduate Student Researcher at CEA and the Institute of Plasma Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Senior Field Service Engineer at ABB, Solar Photovoltaic Engineer at RASCO, and Low Voltage Systems (LVS) Design Engineer at ABB.
