Product Lead

- Started a small team to explore new web3 and gaming ideas for Spotify.
- We came up with Spotify Island (Spotify's Roblox experience). We created the brief, got budget for it and found the right gaming studios to partner with to make this a reality. The people working on this project went from 3 to 50.
- During the building phase of the game I moved on to web3 joining Manifold as a Product Lead.

Spotify

Senior Product Manager, Growth

- Lead Spotify Clips from inception to release.
- Drove Spotify's video strategy for music working closely with the content and studios teams to test several video hypotheses going from music videos to our own exclusives.
- Built different video experiences to cater for discovery, consumption and sharing of short and long form video content on Spotify.
- Contributed via Spotify Clips to +50 marketing campaigns including some of the biggest artist campaigns of the year with artists like BLACKPINK, Paul McCartney, Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry.

Side projects:
- Hacked on Spotify Stickers which were lyrics focused gifs that would link back to Spotify. The project later translated into a partnership with GIPHY that allowed artists to connect their verified gifs on GIPHY to Spotify.

Product Manager, Growth

- One of the first engineers who was part of the team that prepared Spotify to launch in India.
- Due to the nature of the challenge I was able to work on and contribute to all our major systems including search, our content systems, home, playlists, browse, radio, daily mix, etc.
- Helped grow the team from 2 engineers to 13.

Senior Software Engineer, Growth

- Responsible of developing the new content platform containing all of Spotify’s content metadata using practices like Event Sourcing and CQRS. Introducing BDD as a new way to understand our domain and the business rules that we owned.
- Responsible of improving our legacy metadata pipelines by either refactoring through best software practices or re-writing services that were involved in them.
- On September 2017 I joined the new markets team to build new features targeted for our launch in India.

Software Engineer, Content Platform

- Responsible of coming up with a proof of concept of how the new vision of Spotify's content systems would look while using practices like DDD, Event Sourcing and CQRS.
- Responsible of experimenting with graph technologies as our future storage solution for our catalog.
- By the end of the internship I had implemented a whole metadata pipeline parallel to the legacy one that was storing our catalog in a graph database and using an architecture based on DDD, Event Sourcing and CQRS. Event Sourcing and CQRS would then be used to implement the new content platform.

- Part of the team that developed the company's warehouse management system which was built using DDD, Event Sourcing and CQRS principles.
