Agustin Castro
Senior Consultant
Agustin Castro is a highly accomplished journalist and international consultant who has worked with a range of prominent organizations throughout his career. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Audiovisual Production at Universidad Latina de Costa Rica and went on to work as a Managing Editor at La Prensa Libre. With a strong focus on international commerce and public policy, he then completed a Master's degree in this field. Since then, he has worked as a Presidential Advisor and Director of Communications at Presidency of the Republic, Costa Rica, as well as serving as the Ambassador, Alternate Representative at the Permanent Mission of Costa Rica to the Organization of American States. Castro has also acted as a Weekly Columnist at CRHoy, a consultant at the Office of Director at Pan American Health Organization, and a member of the board of directors at the Costa Rican Oil Refinery. He currently works as an International Consultant at the World Bank Group/IFC and the Independent Evaluation Group.
