Agnes Vertes

Agnes Vertes is a seasoned educator with a strong background in Jewish education and mathematics.

With teaching experience in New York City and Connecticut secondary schools, Agnes holds an MBA with a focus on marketing.

She has notably served as the director of business development for the Connecticut Israel Exchange Commission and has a keen interest in producing and directing documentaries, some of which have received awards.

Agnes is a respected speaker, addressing audiences at schools, universities, and religious organizations on topics such as the Holocaust, Judaism under communism, and more.

She is also the President of Holocaust Child Survivors of Connecticut.

Agnes specializes in teaching and tutoring Hebrew, Jewish history, and culture, along with educating diverse audiences on the Holocaust and related subjects.

Her expertise extends to topics like Jews in cinema, the History of Anti-Semitism, and documentary production and direction.

She holds an MBA in Marketing/Finance from the University of Connecticut School of Business and a BA in Languages and Mathematics from Hunter College.
