Princess McDowell is a skilled and experienced writer, marketer, and content strategist. She studied Journalism at The University of Texas at Arlington and has worked with medium-sized local and large global corporations. Princess has a proven track record of delivering creative campaigns that amplify brand mission or sales goals. Her experience includes writing marketing, training and corporate communications and successfully managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-critical environment. In addition to her corporate work, Princess is a freelance writer and contributor to national media outlets, a teaching artist for youth writers, and an editor with a focus on mixing relevant topics with culturally conscious references. Princess has worked as a Special Projects Editor and Columnist for Rebellious Magazine for Women and as a Project Team Lead for 826 Dallas Project's Young Authors Book Project at 826 National. She has also worked as Copywriter for Stream (Stream Energy), Lennox International, and Publicis Hawkeye. As an Associate Director and Coach with Dallas Youth Poets, Princess equipped young writers with the courage and emotional intelligence to tell their stories. Princess's skills in sports journalism have been honed through work as a Sports Clerk at The Dallas Morning News, a Sports Columnist at UTA Student Publications, and a Sports Intern at Killeen Daily Herald.
