Eva Montealegre is a Los Angeles-based artist and author, known for her oil paintings, stone & metal sculptures, and thrillers. She has exhibited her work both nationally and internationally and has been featured in various art galleries and museums. Eva graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Southern California, where she honed her artistic skills. Along with creating art, Eva is an experienced writer and editor, having worked on various publications, including novels, anthologies, and online magazines. Her latest book, BODY ON THE BACKLOT, was named a fantastic read by author Michael Connelly.

Eva is also a passionate art instructor, regularly organizing art workshops and events for both children and adults in various venues. Her teaching technique focuses on self-expression and cultivating joy through the creative process. She has also worked on numerous film and theater productions as a playwright, performer, and historical figure, showcasing her versatility as an artist.

As the creator, publisher, and editor of MYSTERICAL-E, Eva publishes her original writing, as well as works from other talented authors. She is also the founder of SEVEN DIRECTIONS STUDIO LAB, an organization that offers art and publishing services, including seminars and manuscript evaluations.

Some of Eva's notable affiliations and memberships include the recipient of an art grant from PUFFIN FOUNDATION, creative call at UNITEWOMEN.ORG, and painter at Modern Art Gallery. She has also contributed her creative talents as a grant writer and master at MAGIKA BLEU, and an artist at XANADU STUDIO GALLERY.
