Cara Ortiz
Cara Ortiz is an accomplished legal professional with a diverse background in women's studies, history, and law. She studied at Emory University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies and History. She continued her academic pursuits at New York University School of Law, where she studied and earned her Doctor of Law degree.
Throughout her academic career, Cara has remained active in various organizations. She's been a student fellow at NYU Program on Corporate Compliance and Enforcement, a summer associate at Debevoise & Plimpton, a legal intern at Brennan Center for Justice, an advance travel lead, a political intern with Hillary For America, and more.
Additionally, Cara has served as an intern for The Office of Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand, the Accreditation and Evaluation Intern at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and the Executive Intern at the Democratic Party of Georgia. She's also been an SAT Tutor at Let's Get Ready.
Cara has developed expertise in various areas, including corporate compliance and enforcement, legal research and writing, political campaign management, and advocacy. She also has a keen interest in women's rights, access to healthcare, and social justice issues.
