Annie Pennell

Annie Pennell is a visually-oriented and mission-driven frontend engineer with experience spanning UX design to backend, specializing in building beautiful UIs in React.

Her non-traditional background in visual arts and humanities brings a unique perspective to her work, enhancing performance and product quality.

Annie holds a BA in Photography, Writing, and the Human Experience from the University of Redlands, and has completed Full Stack Web Development Immersive at General Assembly as well as a Nanodegree in Front End Web Development at Udacity.

Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at All Turtles, Annie has previously worked at notable organizations such as CoverHound, CyberPolicy, Bridge Immigration, General Assembly, The History Project, Lakeside Camera Photoworks, Langford Market, and as a Freelance Photographer.

Her aspiration is to contribute her tech skills to product development in the mental/behavioral health space by creating modern designs that address crucial everyday challenges.
