Sensor Product Engineer

Support products from NPI to mass production with collaboration across design engineer, reliability team, and field organization. Actively engage in the new product introduction process and sustaining support for legacy broadband wafer inspection tools, with a focus on optics system. Assess products with respect to design for reliability, stability, and serviceability, and drive improvements into the product design. Perform problem solving at system level down to the individual part level with good understanding of system level interactions between optics, electronics, and mechanical parts. Create test plans and interface with engineering, vendor, and local BU to drive continuous improvement plan and preventive maintenance strategy for key optical components. Lead in building predictive models of critical part failures for cost reduction.

Designed, fabricated, and characterized top- and back-gated field-effect transistors to optimize the tunability and reliability of complex oxide thin films in extreme low temperature and high magnetic field environment.

- Designed and constructed a unique broadband Corbino microwave spectrometer coupled into He3 cryostat equipped with a magnet from scratch. •	Designed and assembled an insert for low noise cryogenic 4-probe resistance measurements.•	Explicitly demonstrated the critical slowing down of the characteristic fluctuation rate for a two dimensional thin film on the approach to the superconducting state and that its behavior is consistent with a phase ordering scenario of the transition.•	Investigated magnetic field tuned two dimensional superconductor-insulator quantum phase transition in InOx film using the Corbino microwave spectrometer.•	Characterized CVD grown graphene over the microwave and terahertz range of frequencies.•	Completed two primary manuscripts and co-authored two other publications. Presented results in 12 major conferences, including one invited talk.
