Salma Yehia
Salma Yehia is a highly skilled professional with over four years of experience in project management across the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. Salma has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Boston University, and her expertise lies in nonprofit consulting, business process review and improvement, and impact investing. She has worked in various roles, including project manager at Rue Gilt Groupe, business management consultant at TIAA, policy research and community organizing assistant at Cambridge City Council, and co-founder of TEDxBU. Salma is a former ambassador of research and evaluation at YNPN Boston and has also worked as a business analyst at Brown Brothers Harriman. She graduated from Lexington High School before joining Boston University.
Salma's most recent role as the Manager of Common Purpose Project at Root Cause has allowed her to hone her leadership, negotiation, risk and time management skills. She is passionate about transitioning back into the social sector and utilizing her skills to increase the effectiveness and impact of the nonprofit and philanthropic sector.
